2018 Tre "T"

Tre T is made from three varieties, ---Tannat, Tempranillo, and Teroldego. Tannat is a Cabernet Sauvigon-like variety from extreme Southwestern France ( Madiran AOC) and is often blended with Cabernet. Tempranillo is a Spanish variety most often associated with the famous Rioja wines of north central Spain. Teroldego makes a dark, chewy, almost meaty wine from its home on the Campo Rotaliano, a gravelly plain in central Trentino, in Italy's far north. All three varieties are capable of big, robust wines, and we make them that way before blending approximately equal parts, plus a lesser amount of Merlot. This is one of the best red wines we have made so far!
