As California wines go, our wines are somewhat atypical: we don't produce high alcohol wines, we don't like 'fruit bombs'. Only subtle oak is OK. Acidity is higher than most in order make them food friendly. Balance is everything here at Avanguardia.

Please note that our white blends undergo extend aging on the yeast lees, and this seems to provide an advantage to the wines' ability to age in the bottle, so don't be concerned about what may seem to be an older than ideal vintage date for a white wine.
