2018 LAGREIN

The wine is dark, nearly opaque, with a chewy, meaty character and good acid such that it makes a wonderful match with food. The variety is distantly related to another grape in the same area which shares a similar set of palate sensations—Teroldego ( see the discussion of our Tre “T” blend ). If you have had either Tre “T”, or Teroldego by itself, we think that you cannot help but like Lagrein.
